Iranian culture is built on generosity, hospitality, poetry, and the joyous art of being present—"Haal." Unfortunately, in today's Iran, expressing these fundamental aspects of our heritage is severely restricted. Iranians cannot freely gather, welcome strangers, host festive gatherings, or openly express their poetry and joy.We are a group of Iranians in diaspora, free to share our beautiful Iranian culture with the world. So, we decided to gift the world's most precious spice as a way to connect to the most meaningful parts of our culture: Iranian hospitality and the Iranian philosophical desire, expressed by our greatest poets and mystics, like Rumi, Hafez and Ferdowsi, to enjoy the moment, or experience "haal!"The Meaning of Haal:
In Persian, "Haal" means "now" and also a feeling of vibrancy when blissfully present, connected, and deeply joyful. You could say being in "haal" means you are experiencing the wow of now! In Persian, a common greeting is "Haalet chetoreh?" Which quite literally is "how's your now?"Iranian Saffron helps you embody "Haal" or the "wow of now" by:
